Jeff “Nelly” Nelson

Jeff Nelson joins Leading Light as our new Client Relations Associate, bringing years of experience from the restaurant and bar industry, including roles in management that strengthened his skills in customer service, communication, and keeping operations running smoothly. His background working in fast-paced, people-centered environments translates perfectly into supporting our clients and being the friendly face in the front office.

Jeff lives in Ariel, Washington, with his wife Tasha who many of you know as the owner of Leading Light—and their two children. He’s excited to work alongside Tasha and be part of the business in a hands-on way. Outside of work, you’ll find him enjoying woodworking, cooking, yardwork, and hiking—anything that lets him work with his hands or spend time outdoors.

He is motivated by helping others and sharing what he has to offer. One of his favorite quotes reflects that: “If you are truly grateful, what do you do? You share.” This spirit shows up in his passion for food drives and feeding the hungry, causes he continues to support.

One of Jeff’s favorite parts of joining Leading Light is the warm, welcoming environment—and of course, the fact that he gets to bring his puppy to work doesn’t hurt!

A fun fact you might not know: he once almost drowned on an inner-tube waterslide—a story he can tell far better than we can.
